A stunning location let down by a poorly maintained Manor House, disappointing service, and very underwhelming food. If
2.0The location is stunning, our guide Dom is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
− I upgraded to the Manor House, but unfortunately it was the biggest disappointment of my one-month trip in South Africa. The property itself feels quite run down and clearly needs proper maintenance. For a premium villa category, I expected a much higher standard of upkeep. It also gave me the impression that management may not have recently inspected or experienced the house from a guest’s perspective. The service was also disappointing. If the property is charging a premium for a private villa stay, there should be staff with the right experience and attention to detail to look after villa guests properly. The bench and lights around the swimming pool were not even prepared properly until the 3rd day of my stay. The food was another major letdown. The quality was poor, and the same frozen ingredients seemed to be used repeatedly throughout my stay. At times, I almost wanted to skip meals altogether.

9.0Amazing little paradise which feels like home away from home. Staff is amazingly nice ; guides and trackers very experienced and knowledgeable. We had no expectations in terms of animals we would see yet it has proven to be our best safari experience so far! Food is also very good and varied: kudos to the Chef!
