6.0Staff very helpful and pleasant. Lovely old building with sash windows. Upgraded my room at no extra charge. Situated in vibrant area of town. Room checked each day and towels changed.

− Double room, bed was too small, no lift but we were aware of that. Noisy outside but not the hotels fault. Bathroom access very tight.

A disappointing experience.
3.0The staff on duty did their best.
− The kitchen staff were all on holiday on Monday and Tuesday, so there was no breakfast and no evening meal. There is no lift, and we were on the fourth floor via a complicated system of stairs.
Hotel in an excellent location, spacious room, very courteous and helpful staff.
