Lovely to return to Bendigo and stay right in the centre of town

Very disappoiniting stay
4.0The location.
− Dirty, stained carpets and the room had a very unpleasant smell as though the carpets had never been cleaned. The room also had a broken window. The hotel hallways and surfaces were dusty and looked like some areas had never been cleaned. Two staff members were very unwelcoming (but there was one man working who was friendly).

8.0beautiful old building, well done on the room with ensuite, well done room nice and warm to walk into, front bar dining room was open and clean, lunch was great the steak and the Parma, drinks about average pricr to melbourne
− only let down was breakfast, late opening, dry peice of toast small serve of scrabbled eggs, bacon not enough, no real selection for juices, seemed to be an interuption of other staff opening up
