7.0Location and the actual building was v good
− The room only had one fan on a stand and the room was very hot. Terrible nights sleep.
Enjoyable night in Hurley
8.0Bedroom was nice. Decor was nice. Location was great. Really quiet
− Breakfast and food wasn’t great. Scrambled eggs were overdone and I got broccoli with my main dinner on the evening of arrival and it wasn’t fresh.
Was ok
6.0Old style inn and pub
− Dated
Lovely hotel set in a pretty village close to Marlow.
8.0It’s charm! Dominic at reception and the bar was most helpful and very friendly. We had a lovely big room overlooking the gardens.
− The table at breakfast was sticky, the glasses and cups were stuck to it. I think in some of the general areas it could be cleaner ie toilets off the breakfast room, the top of the sink didn’t feel as though it had been wiped in a while! Our room was fine though. The breakfast was good but the bacon looked re-heated, it wasnt great when it was in the self serve buffet on the 1st morning , but was worse when ordered fresh on the 2nd.
Lovely relaxing break in a beautiful property in lovely surroundings.
8.0Spacious room and on suite. Beautiful gardens . Historic property with interesting rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location and peaceful.
− Hair in bath plug hole. Limited Vegetarian options on menu. Some vegetarian stuff on menu not available.
