No Night life Area & Graffiti Everywhere
6.0I stayed in the private apartment (thought was on sight) But it is down the street from the hostel. The apartment is basic and no shampoo or anything like that. Two towels and no dish towels. Apartment was kind of run down but the price is what you get. Bed was not that comfortable and no ac; just a fan. Area was close to the plaza and the lucia hill (5-10 minute walk) nice views from 22nd floor but stayed for 3 nights in Santiago and least favorite city so far; graffiti everywhere after the riots and looks really run down and a lot of hippies laying in parks and sidewalks. Zero night life nearby or walkable to go to if you like to go out and meet people close to your housing. Would recommend another area.
Very nice staff and place to stay
10.0This hostel is very cool, first the exceptional staff that can help you with many things (go out, take some things, good location) and that is Very friendly A special Thanks for Rebecca and Francy (thank you very much for your kindness and help) The breakfast is rich, The rooms are good and own, the same for The bathrooms This place is good to find people in Santiago because there is a good atmosphere thanks to the staff and you feel at home

8.0Spacious private room with bathroom, bery clean. Great location. Breakfast not great, but I guess usual for a hostal.
Would stay here again
8.0We stayed here twice for several days before and after a trip out to Easter Island. Santiago is a weird place at the moment with the protests having quieted down but still happening, but we still managed to have an enjoyable stay. We had a private room/shared bathroom which suited us well. Hostels aren't usually the quietest of places, but we slept well here. There was traffic noise from the street that didn't bother our sleep at all. The water in the shower was hot. The wifi worked even from the room which was nice. The included breakfast was appreciated. You have to be buzzed in whenever you come or go. They also give you a bracelet to wear to identify you as a guest. I didn't love that, but had to admit I did appreciate they were taking measures to protect our stuff from unwelcome visitors sneaking in and stealing anything. They have a wine social a few nights a week which was fun - you aren't gonna get buzzed just on what they give you so bring your own to supplement, but it was a fun way to meet others at the hostel and socialize without things getting too rowdy, Really we chose this hostel because we liked the look of the kitchen from the photos since we like to cook. I have to say they could use a refresh on their pans and dishes. We got the job done but it was a bit questionable. There is a grocery store around the corner that sells roasted chickens for about $5 which better suited us. The location is good in Bellas Artes, not far from Plaza del Armas or even Bellavista is in walking distance in the other direction (though we took Ubers after dark which were cheap and easy). The best part of the stay though is the staff. Truly everyone was super friendly, approachable, and helpful. I was very impressed and would come back here again.
Family, friendly and lovely place
10.0I stayed for four nights, on the second nights I was mugged and phone was stolen while out. The helpful staff couldnt have been more helpful and kind when I really needed help. they let me use their personal laptops to cancel cards back home and tried to cheer me up. cant speak highly enough of the staff
Very good place to stay
8.0The staff, Volker, imparticular, made this a great place to stay for our group of 11, 3 adults and 8 teeenage girls from the U.S. The staff was super accommodating as they assisted us in arranging tours and airport transportation . Breakfast was good and plentiful, You might want to provide your own fruit. The other guests were friendlyand considerate. It felt very safe.
