Best all inclusive holiday at a five star resort

Excellent hotel, friendly ,clean and the staff were extremely hospitable. All inclusive holiday Food was great and the chef at the Indian restaurant was extremely accommodating for vegetarian food My husband and I tried all 4 restaurants at the resort and they were all very good

Excellent holiday, but flights were a nightmare.

We went to Zanzibar on 29th January for two weeks. The resort was excellent. unusual accommodation, with loads of green areas, trees etc. The buildings were two stories , four rooms upstairs , four downstairs. The buildings were unique, from outside they were built from logs etc with thatched roofs. Sounds odd, but when you got into the rooms they were excellent, large bedroom with table and chairs, a desk, another unit with fridge etc,. and a massive balcony with nice seats and a great view, and a large bathroom with walk in shower The four poster bed was great, complete with Mosquito net. The staff came in twice a day, once to clean the room, make the bed, change the towels (including beach towels), topping up soft drinks and water in the fridge. The second time to tidy up again and put the mosquito net into place. The food was average, not a great selection, but there was food being cooked outside which was usually good. Several restaurants, all inclusive was excellent, good bottled beer, spirits were good with large measures if you wanted them. Pools were good, swim up bar. Entertainment at night, right by the beach, restaurant and bars. Loads of sunbeds on the beach, the staff look for you heading towards the sunbeds, and bring mattresses over. Waiters on the beach bringing drinks. All in all a very good experience. The flights however were a disaster, but that's another story

Very poor food hygiene

Serious Food Hygiene Issues We stayed at Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa for three weeks and experienced serious problems with food hygiene. All six people in our group became sick multiple times during the stay with symptoms consistent with food poisoning. We also witnessed guests vomiting near the beach and at shared toilets, and several other guests told us they had also been sick after eating at the resort. This was clearly not an isolated incident. Based on our experience and what we observed, the food hygiene standards at this resort appear to be very poor.

Incredible vacation

We are so grateful to be in zanzibar and we enjoyed a lot we do appreciate the service from Allen he was amiable and industrious smiling all the time making cocktails with lots fanfare to the pool bar however we liked the hotel scenery surrounded with beautiful gardens nice beach nie rooms and delicious food neptune deserves to be 8stars

We came vacation just to enjoy andrelax after workingfor a long time and we found neptune is the best place where happy is found Allen is one of the people who made our vacation go well by giving us delicious cocktail and remedy smile

Our stay at the Hotel Neptun Pwani Beach Resort was wonderful. The people who work there made sure our time was relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms were clean, and the restaurants served delicious food and fresh fruit. The staff was friendly and welcoming, especially Allen, Maciano, Salama, and DJ. This was our first stay here, and I already know it won't be our last. Iwona and Artur
