Couldn't fault the breakfast. Whatever you asked for was provided food was cooked to perfection. Sharon was always on hand bringing in breakfast and clearing away the tables and could always inform you on anything you need to know about Torquay and surrounding areas.Couldnt fault Mandys cooking.

If you've not been to Torquay, then you probably won't be aware of the hilly nature of the town. If you've travelled by train & fancy a walk to the accommodation, it can be a bit of a trek, especially if you have baggage. But once you have settled in & make your way to the beach, it's an ideal location. No lifts are available but if you state your circumstance then I'm sure you'll get a room at ground level. You need 3 keys to get through the front door, the secondary door & your room door, a bit of a faff but if you're there a while, you'll get around it. It was a particularly warm day when I arrived, I informed the property that I was on my way, however, the mini fridge wasn't turned on, so you unfortunately had to wait overnight for the fridge to get cold. A well cooked breakfast is always a winner & they didn't disappoint. A choice of fruit, cereal & juice available where you can help yourself. You have a set breakfast or sandwiches, whether you could have it toasted or not, I wasn't sure, but if you don't ask, you don't get.... right? If using public transport, there's a bus stop where you can catch the 35a & 35c (clockwise & anticlockwise), 35a takes you into Torquay town centre, the 11 also goes into Torquay & continues to Teignmouth, walk towards the bay & you can get the 12 into Paignton & Brixham. Torre & Torquay rail station are a fair walk if you wish to venture further. My hosts were very friendly & accommodating, if you wanted any sightseeing tips they'll be very happy to help but there's also plenty of literature of Torbay & the rest of Devon to see you right!

− I may have already addressed this but it was a particularly warm day & the mini fridge wasn't turned on upon my arrival. The bed, a single as I was travelling alone was satisfactory, could have been a little more comfy.
