1 night no dramas, beautiful surroundings
7.0I’m well aware of the property I used to live to the rear it’s a stunning facade.
− Opened the windows to let some air in and there was rubble on the ledge, tiny desk fan to cool wasn’t adequate
Good value, great location and staff
7.0Big room and decent bed. The shower was hot and reasonably powerful (big plus). The staff were all super friendly.
− Nothing really; maybe a bit dated and could do with a bit of modernising.

Great overnight stay
8.0The furniture & decor in the room was a little dated, however the room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff member on our arrival was very friendly and efficient. The free water in our room was a welcome touch. We only used the hotel as a base for an event in Nottingham and never used any of the facilities. Although the bar area looked rather splendid and perhaps a great place to sit, relax and have a drink and something to eat. The gardens looked like a lovely area to explore.

6.0Overall, I had a pleasant stay, and the hotel is beautiful with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and I enjoyed my time there. However, I do feel that the hotel could benefit from a more thorough clean, especially the windows, which looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. Considering the price I paid, I also expected the room to be stocked with two face towels instead of just one. In addition, the shower had very low water pressure, which made it less enjoyable to use. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but with a few improvements to cleanliness and the room amenities, it would better reflect the price charged.
