One night stay close to the tower
9.0Great location close to the tower. My flight was delayed and the staff gave me instructions for checking in which was great. There was also a separate shower so I could shower before bed without waking my room mates. Huge lockers (bring a padlock) and decent air con and WiFi.
− The lack of people on reception in the morning meant it wasn’t possible to ask to store my bag before my train; I would advise asking about this in advance if this is something you want to do.

Great location. Good atmosphere. Poor facilities. Old dirt.
6.0- Great location - House-style hostel - A/C in common areas and inside the room - Good atmosphere - Friendly staff (except for the lady that does the housekeeping)
− - It was a bit dirty. The showers had mold that had been there for a while (not the type of mold that grows overnight). The kitchen had plenty of dirt under the microwave. The drain in the showers was a bit clogged as water didn’t go down easily. - Room’s A/C power was a bit low. I even sweated at night as the A/C was not cooling the room down enough. - The lady that did the housekeeping was a bit rude. She didn’t speak English (which is weird for a hostel) but I made my best effort to communicate with her in “Italian” anyway. She seemed not very willing to help (not to say upset) despite my efforts. - Reception runs from 2pm until midnight. If you arrive outside that time window, you will find no one you can borrow (or rent) a towel from, so be sure to bring your own. - You have to pay the city tax on top of the reservation price. Not a big deal as it is a few euros, but it would be nice to have this charge included in the reservation price instead. - You have to make your bed upon arrival.
