10.0The log cabin we had was just magical, the entire facility was beautiful inside and out.The cabin was warm and inviting, bathroom fresh and clean, beds were comfy- we slept great after a whole day at cradle mountain. Breakfasts and dinners were tasty! Hard to believe as a tassie local i didn't know about it until now. Highly recommended.

5.0Unique and off the track from main tourist area.
− Heating in our cabin was so loud and sounded like a jet plane. No one slept due to the noise. We had to turn the heating off at 3am which meant it was freezing cold. The property is dated and was underwhelming. The set dinner menu is $60 per person and the selection is odd. Kids menu was also limited. Breakfast was average and limited. We could see the potential, but it appeared as though none of the staff cared, and as though doing the basics was enough. Compared to staying at Peppers, this was a huge downgrade in service, quality and inclusions.

− I would have liked to see the area pruned just a little around the table near the laundry so that it could be utilised as it is in a gorgeous spot. Also the Laundry room could be a lot more convenient as it was out of order

Lemonthyme wilderness retreat is situated down an 8km gravel road. Please when coming to our resort take Dolcoath road as GPS may take you down Bull Creeks road which is now closed down as a 4X4 track only.
Please note upon your journey to our retreat google maps may be inaccurate. It may send you down a private property track. To ensure you are in the right direction please follow cradle mountain road and do not turn off until you reach Dolcoath road- this is an 8kilometre gravel road and has no turns, just follow it until you reach our property.
