Overall the hotel was a pleasant place to stay. The staff were very friendly. The food was very good
8.0The breakfast was full of fresh produce which was delicious and cooked to perfection. The hotel is full of rustic charm with a picturesque canal with lots of seating area and parking.
− A new bigger non creeky bed would have been better as it was too short for my average hight husband.
Convenient position with good parking and excellent food.
9.0The hotel was conventionally placed for our journey. The staff were bright and friendly.
− On the night we stayed it was very hot and a fan would have been appreciated.

− Cold tap didn’t work in bathroom. no air con which is fair enough but no fan to use when weather is hot. No decaf tea
I feel with a bit more organisation, decor updated, more choice in food the hotel would be fantastic
6.0I thought the breakfast was great value. The room was very clean, staff cleaned room every day and restocked tea etc.
− I feel staff do not appear fully organised and from what I believe the owner has left the Management/Staff and through them in at the deep end. Needs to be more organised. Pity that rooms are in two buildings. Food was a bit of a let down as not much choice, also seemed to run out of things and only found out the reason why upon leaving. Order was incorrect, food took ages to arrive, and although given an apology no discount applied which may have been an option. I feel the hotel requires a bit of an update as a bit tired looking in parts and some has obviously been updated which was nice.
