7.0Breakfast was excellent- plenty of variety. The staff were lovely and tried to be helpful with everything. The decor is lovely if you prefer old fashioned English design . The only really modern addition they have made is that there are plenty of plugs in the rooms. Wifii was pretty good too. Great spot for sitting out on the lawn and relaxing, which is not my thing.
− There was really no assistance with organizing hikes and biking from the hotel. If you plan to hike come prepared with your own maps etc. There is no gym and they do not offer yoga mats . There is no spa- and no spa services. Somehow I missed this when we chose the place.
Will be back! To the room with the courtyard n hot tub!
9.0Very tasteful decor, new, and the location was great, less touristy amberside is quaint and the hotel is near to the town. The breakfast was delicious.
