Great food and comfortable stay
10.0Have stayed here more than once and never disappointed. Ample room size, especially for the price. Ideally placed as in the town centre (station 5 mins walk away), but also excellent location for the road network, Kenilworth Castle, Stoneleigh Park, NEC and airport. Comfortable bar with a wide range of spirits and pints. Food options include the Malaysian restaurant which has been a staple of Kenilworth dining for many years, plus the newer American style menu on the bar side. Breakfast tasty and a bargain, especially if you go for the fuller option. Staff friendly too+free car park which isn't always the case in town centres
Spacious rooms. Family friendly. Very clean
10.0Customer service is incredible. Rooms are spacious, clean and luxurious. There’s not enough the staff can do for you. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.
Absolutely awful !
4.0The location was great for what we needed but the hotel itself was diabolical! When we first arrived in the car park we were greeted to someone smoking weed with a bottle of wine tucked behind his leg. The room we stayed in stunk of urine and was not very clean at all ! The smoking of weed never stopped the entire time we were there which was only one night !! Thank god ! Hot water was hit and miss, the breakfast was ok, the staff were good. Given the option I would have booked some where else to stay ! I would never go back to this place !!
Awful…
2.0Well where do I begin, my first room was okay until I tried to put the electric heating on and the fuse tripped and the socket started smoking, we were given what they call a superior room round the back which had no hot water or even warm water, the towel radiator in the bathroom leaked and the hand soap looked like it had been there for probably 5 years. The fire alarm went off at 4 am and from 6am my room stunk of cannabis… I would NOT recommend anyone to waste their money on this establishment.
Clean and comfortable. Restaurant meals very good.
8.0Generally very good for two-night stay. Room clean and comfortable. Raffles Experience - Singapore sling cocktail, three-course dinner, wine, liqueur coffee - very good value, recommended. Only real cause for complaint was noise from room above, but probably not much can be done about that.
Highly Recommended and Good for the Price
10.0I stayed at the Peacock Hotel in Kenilworth for one night last week and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel offers excellent value for money and I would happily recommend it. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything I needed for a short stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was welcoming and relaxed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also had breakfast and drinks at the Feather Bar and Grill within the hotel. Breakfast was fresh and well presented, with a good selection, and the bar was a great spot to unwind in the evening. The drinks were reasonably priced and the service was attentive. Overall, a great stay in a convenient location, with good food and a comfortable room at a fair price. Highly recommended, especially if you’re looking for quality without overspending.
