10.0This is a 100 yr old property that has been updated but a while ago. The rooms are small but the owner/staff was excellent and the stay was enjoyable. They included a made to order breakfast. Peterlee is a little out of the way but matched where we were going. Just stayed one night.

8.0Friendly staff and excellent cooked breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Easy check in and check out. The room could do with a lick of paint. The lights and fridge made a buzzing noise.

8.0Establishment was clean with friendly, helpful staff. Hospitality tray/ water not replenished for second night. Don't understand this policy as same room rate charged. We decided to have a nightcap before 10pm to find bar closed.
