A wonderful stay: hosts, location, room and complementary breakfast.
10.0Great hosts.. so friendly and obliging. Wonderful location. The Standard Single room was spacious, with a sea view, with lots of storage for clothes etc. The offstreet parking was a real bonus. The breakfast was a treat with lots of choice and within the menu could be tailored to your exact preference. As I was leaving for an early ferry, coffee, toast and cereal were prepared before their normal breakfast time for me and a hot takeaway pack was provided. When next at Shanklin, I will definitely be returning.

9.0Ideally situated for beach and town and buses,a friendly and comfortable guest house. I particularly liked breakfast served to you rather than self service as in big hotels. Hosts friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

While the hotel has a perfect location and friendly owners, it is in need of refurbishments
6.0The owners of the hotel were very kind and attentive. The location is ideal, close to everything you may need. The breakfast was varied and adapted to different tastes. The bed was very comfortable.
− The hotel could use some refurbishment, as it has clearly seen better days. It is not very suitable for guests with reduced mobility, since there are quite a few steps both at the front and the back. My room was much smaller than expected and not the one I had booked through Booking.com. The shower was very small, with a curtain that allowed water to spill out. Overall, the room felt cramped and would benefit from some improvements
