8.0As a solo guest , I was made to feel very welcome even though the staff were busy with weddings !! They organised taxis for me ! Wonderful breakfast and a charming place to stay with so much history

4.0One of the most expensive hotels in West Yorkshire still riding on the fact that the Beatles,who I simply love, stayed there 60 years ago. Beautiful grounds and building from the outside and ample free parking. Terrible decor which is very tired. Internet simply did not work in the rooms and the bathroom was terrible, shower head was past its best by about a decade.

10.0Welcoming and warm - complimentary glass of mulled wine and mince pie on arrival and a lovely warm clean room. Staff are kind and thoughtful. Will definitely stay there again when in Halifax.
