Un endroit très calme, à l'écart de la ville en montagne. Une vue panoramique sur Gênes magnifique et des hôtes très gentils et accueillants.

Es War wunderschön dort die Betreiber sind ganz liebe Menschen , es gibt dort in der Wohnung nichts aber auch garnichts was man noch gebrauchen könnte , es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht , es hat uns dort sehr gefallen. 45 min bis zum Meer (andere fahren 1 Stunde zur Arbeit ) die Bergeggische Landschaft dort ist der Hammer. Es waren 3 kurze aber sehr schöne tage . Also wer Interesse hat an einem wirklich sehr schönen Urlaub dem kann ich diese lieben Menschen nur empfehlen.es wurde auch gefragt ob man noch was braucht ect. Vielen lieben Dank Mike&Nina

This accommodation is wonderful. The hosts could not be more, friendly, more helpful or more accommodating. The countryside where it is located is stunning, however one word of caution, if you don't like heights, go the long way round. Either cash or a paypal account is necessary for payment. Top up with fuel before you leave the main town centres. Nice shop in the centre of the village sells a decent local red wine, cheeses and bread at a good price, but you will probably only need the wine as the host freely provides so much more than B&B ! Take something for the evening meal in any case. If the opportunity arises we would certainly stay here again for longer next time.

Superb Italian getaway in the mountains

I stayed in La Casa Inglese for six nights with a friend. We stayed in the Oscar Wilde -apartment, which had a small bedroom and even smaller bathroom, kitchenette and hall/breakfast area. For a B&B, the place is excellent! The hosts provided everything we asked for in the fridge/cupboard and were extremely nice and welcoming. They recommended interesting places in the area to visit and made us feel perfecty at ease. Vara Superiore (the smal village where La Casa Inglese is located) is lovely, but difficult to access, though we didn't mind because we knew this beforehand and were well prepared. You'll need a car to get there and the bendy roads in the mountains are a slow drive - especially in misty weather, which is common. But once you're there, you'll want to explore the surroundings - there are lots of beautiful villages and towns to visit and lots of beautiful hiking ground for sports enthousiasts. During our six days, we explored Arenzano, the Mt. Beigua nature park, Ovada, Sassello, Aqui Terme (the most lovely town I've ever seen), Genoa, Rapallo and Portofino (the most beautiful hiking trail I've ever experienced). All in all I can definately recommed La Casa Inglese, as the price/quality is excellent and the surroundings totally charming!

Fred og ro - og køligere nætter end ved kysten

B&B'en ligger oppe i bjergene, hvor der er mange vandrestier, bjergcykelture, små hyggelige byer og spisesteder med lokal god mad. Kysten, Genoa og Asti kan man køre til på lidt over en time, så der er gode muligheder for sightseeing. Værtsparret er søde og rare, taler engelsk og er meget hjælpsomme.
