Interesting place to stay, keep in mind, no breakfast included
6.0It's a great house for a couple who likes antiques and a cosy experience. The house is big and you have your privacy.
− The information on booking about breakfast is misleading. It says it's included, yet there is no breakfast. The linen and towels were fresh, but the house didn't feel that clean and if you wanted to cook something, you need to make sure to wash the cutlery, glass and dishes before using them.
When we woke up, we all had to have a shower as the bedding left you smelling unpleasant. We paid for three nights but o

1.0− THERE WAS NO LOCK ON THE DOOR BETWEEN THE HOSTS HOUSE & THE RENTED SPACE! We were unable to secure the door to the cottage, which meant the hosts could access our space whenever & if they wished to. We left as soon as we realised as it was unsafe to stay in a place with no locking door between ourselves & the hosts. Ourselves, our dog & our belongings were not safe. The shower was also dirty with long dark hairs in it. Currently fighting to get our money back.

− the property has a very bad unpleasant DAMP smell, and it was very cold, unsuitable and unhealthy for guests particularly with lung issues. The old wooden door of the property had no lock so it felt unsafe as anyone from the main house could get in,. Derelict caravans in front of the house. The property decor is Very strange inside, lots of mooses heads on the walls,etc. I would not recomend staying at this accomadation. We approached the owners for a refund but this was declined,we were told to contact Booking.com for a refund,but they said it was the property owners that should refund ! We had booked a 3 night stay but we did not stay there at all due to above damp smell.etc
