10.0Fantastic hotel in the middle of town , perfect for access to the Tarland 2 mtb hill and other surrounding areas. I stayed 2 days , large room , great shower . Gorgeous beer garden where you could eat and drink . Lots of Vegan food options and a Secure lockup for MTB, coupled with private off road parking

8.0The location was fine as was the room and good value for money. (The internet connection is poor but that does not appear to be an issue the hotel can resolve). The lady I spoke with when I checked in was very pleasant and very helpful.
− There was a tray in the room with a glass, and a bottle of tap water. Unfortunately, the tray was slightly dirty (and the rim of the glass which was 'upside down'was on the dirty part of the tray). I drank a little of the water using the 'mug' provided and intended to mention this politely, the following morning on departure -disappointingly, the person to whom I handed my key simply 'took the keys' and made no comment (like - 'we hope your visit has been ok'), so I decided that she didn't care so I wouldn't tell her but include my comment in my feedback.
