Boutique hotel with lovely food.
8.0This boutique hotel wasn't cheap, but our room was a good size, with a large shower and an outdoor patio. The bed was large and very comfortable. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, though there are tables in the bar area and several people had dogs. The menu was seafood heavy, naturally as we were on the coast and the food was nice. The breakfast had a good continental selection and the hot selection was freshly cooked and catered for my gluten free needs. The hotel was in a quiet location and a 10 minute walk to the fabulous beach. The staff were friendly and helpful.

9.0Rooms a very good size, furnishings are tasteful, a lovely representation of Northumberland. The en-suite bathroom was spacious with plenty of towels, and good size soap and shampoo supplied. Bathrobes and slippers also provided. Everything needed for your stay is provided in the room from hairdryer to kettle with tea and coffee. Restaurant is very good with an excellent menu, extensive breakfast selection from cereals, continental,menu of cooked options and everything in between.
