6.0Very nice property, nice staff, but hotel needs an update. Things weren’t working properly like ceilings fan and wifi kept shutting off.
Nice hotel with stunning views
8.0We were pleasantly surprised upon checking into Les Acacias. It was the only place we stayed at in this country that had 1. Warm water showers, and 2. Fresh fruit at breakfast. The free airport shuttle was a real bonus and all the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a very large 1-bedroom apartment with nice views over the pool and sea. There was no problem with outside noise at all and we had a very restful sleep. The room was clean and comfortable however there were a few minor maintenance issues that needed taking care of. Our room had a kitchen but there were absolutely no utensils or other kitchen equipment, making it non-functional. There was a good internet TV in the bedroom, but oddly, nothing in the living room. The internet connection was solid, the best we experienced in Djibouti. The pool area was super nice – a shame we didn’t get a chance to use it. The buffet breakfast was fairly basic but very good, the best we had in Djibouti, with lots of fresh fruit and made to order omelets. Just 100m outside the hotel is a very good pizzeria – highly recommended!! Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to other travelers wanting to escape the chaos of the central city.

10.0The HIGH LIGHTS about this property would be the rooms with balconys, the Excellent outdoors seating space and my favorit being right by the water.

2.0Cockroaches in the room. Dishes in the hallway for two days. Room was filthy. Shower was dirty and had calcium deposits caked over the handle. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I left after one night and will seek a refund for the entire stay.
