Perfect location. Room had everything I needed. Comfortable bed. Lovely refurbished bathroom. Host very helpful and friendly.

As a person travelling alone, it was a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

Hostess was lovely, very helpful. Room very clean and comfy. Large bathroom with excellent hot shower and it was exceptionally clean, as was the separate WC. Great view of the sea from window. Outside relaxation area/seating great as faced the prom and sea. Quite a few steps to the prom from the premises but ok if you’re fit. The property is in a very peaceful/relaxing location, yet right on the sea front and close to the town’s amenities and the maritime museum. Free parking is available The main sea front car park is large and free to use during the day.

− The door to the room was a bit stiff and creaky, so every time I went into or out of the room, I felt it made more noise than necessary and might disturb others. The bathroom facilities, whilst excellent and spotlessly clean, I would have preferred to be closer to the room. I didn’t realise they would be down the hall when I booked, so that’s my fault! But a towelling robe is provided, if required.

Perfect location , absolutely spotless , excellent shower and brilliant view of the sea!

− Double Bed a bit too neat for us as other half is very tall , but the room had a very comfy single bed also , so it was ok in the end.

Fantastic location. Property was beautifully clean and well appointed. The lady who owned it was always willing to help with everything including advice on the amenities in the area. We will definitely be returning.

We loved waking up to the sea every morning and the sound of the waves lapping at the shore was soothing sending me to sleep A great location needles eye cafe was awesome for breakfast and evening meal again overlooking the sea and enjoying a beer or 2 and everything was walkable The room had binoculars which being a bit of a bird enthusiast was brilliant and saw lots of different ones with where the b and b is situated house martins and swallows flying by too Recommend going to St Mary's lighthouse to see the seals and to Whitley for fish and chips at Fisherman's bay I'm vegan and it was still amazing fish and chips 👍 Alnwick castle is awesome if you're a Harry Potter fan and there are lots of walking routes and places to visit great place for a getaway we came to see my friend and do parkrun as runners too we have done Newbiggin along the front and Carlisle Park tough but very pretty with the canal defo going to come back 🥰 The b and b had a great host to warm ,friendly and very welcoming

− Just the bed needed a higher mattress with the four poster bed as the wooden frame was level as you kept sitting on in that instead of a soft mattress
