This has clearly been a hotel of high standards in the past, sadly no longer, overpriced

− Inexperiences staff pre occupied with their mobile phones Hotel tired Plunge pools dirty, cold jacuzzi aspect not working/ out of operation Steam room out of operation Staff young inexperienced young men, unable to speak English, sat around most of the time playing on mobile phones in view of guests Many teapots/ milk pots had no lids, used small plates instead

9.0The staff was extremely friendly and was very accommodating. We stayed for 1 night and they looked in to all our needs as soon as we requested. Will definitely go there again and will definitely recommend this place. Very much loved the old school Sri Lankan walawwa type aesthetics as well.

9.0Had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Era Beach Hotel with my family. Great place to relax overlooking the gorgeous sea view. Situated in a convenient location & serene environment. We stayed in suite with sea view and loved the beautiful view from the balcony. Rooms were spacious and well cleaned. Hotel staff were very friendly & attentive. Loved the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. Thank you Mr. Nalaka & team for the hospitality. Looking forward to another stay at Era Beach Hotel.
