− Smallest motel room I’ve ever been in. Only water was in the small hand basin in the shower room which was also the only place (yuk) to wash any dishes etc. Cutlery was absolutely minimal and not even a small chopping board. Definitely won’t return as although slightly cheaper than the many other options locally, just generally not worth the saving.

8.0− There was a cockroach in the bathroom of unit 7. An entomologist identified it as a Gisborne cockroach, Drymaplaneta semivitta.

9.0The owner of the Motel was super friendly, even got to meet her cat :) She asked if I wanted milk for coffee. We borrowed a dvd player to watch one of the movies they had in their dvd library, which all looked decent. Even though these days, most people watch streaming platforms, it's still good to have that extra. We had access to Netflix there too.
− If I was going to make one small complaint, it would be they didn't seem to have cooking oil. We only stayed the one night so maybe that's why. I just figured with cooking facilities being there, it would be included. We didn't end up cooking up anything anyway.
