6.0Great country pub in quiet village location
− The pub is great but the catering is very disappointing, main meal in the evening was very substandard. The breakfast in the morning didn’t materialise due to a ‘fan ‘ not working in the kitchen, some plastic bread and marmalade put out and a couple of boxes of cereal. It was unacceptable really and no one was taking responsibility for this and you had to ask why is there no breakfast.. I was told to go to the cafe across the road , not good enough. This is my second stay here , the first time was much better. They need to up their game.

An easy stop off over night before an event he following day.
9.0Easy to find. Easy to park. Rooms were clean, comfortable and very nice. Restaurant food was delicious.

− Different size towels and marks on them, bedding had stains on them. Hair in the bathroom. Extractor fan not working. General cleanliness of the room not up to 4 star standard
