5.0The surrounding countryside is beautiful. The grounds around the accommodation were well kept. Location is convenient.
− Rooms advertised as having a fireplace but it was just a tiny electric heater with a fake fire on the front. Microwave didn't work. Used the toaster and it shorted the electricity for the entire suite. Everything looks/feels fairly old. Felt like a run-down house that nobody uses. Only basic cutlery provided. Would be nice in wine country if there was a bottle opener in the drawer. Would be nice to have some usb outlets provided. If this place was 30% cheaper than more modern places I would expect all these things, but I paid more than what some much nicer places are asking for. I was also unable to cancel/refund.

Overall a enjoyable stay
8.0The location was very quiet in beautiful countryside. Our room was a good size, it was great to have a sitting room area and kitchenette. The decor was very nice, the kitchen and bathroom were very well equiped.
− We were very disappointed that the bed had no top sheet and only a duvet. It was a very warm night and being at the end of summer in Australia, having a duvet only is not appropriate. We did not want to have the air conditioning running just to keep the room cold enough to use a duvet. In countryside accomodation when windows can be open, the option to have light bedding and fresh air should be available to guests. Unfortunately we are experiencing this trend in Australia to not provide top sheets more often. Everything else about the accomodation was lovely.
Looks lovely, but hard to feel like it was worth the money.
5.0The building looks awesome from the outside! Very cool Italian/french vibes. Beautiful, and in a quiet spot so you can hear and see all the lovely wildlife that surrounds the property.
− The bugs!! We had so many creepy crawlies in our room. All over the kitchenette, in the shower, a scorpion at the base of the bed, and even a large ant running around in our bed when we moved the pillows. It made us feel very uncomfortable. I took photos for reference.
