Spacious -central location for exploring.

− Storage heaters were on and we couldn't turn them off. No WiFi code. Had to make contact to get access details- other locations I've booked forward this info to you.

Location is perfect. Showers were hot and clean. Good size kitchen and plenty of space in general. Easy access and quiet

location was great, amenities were good it was the perfect place for us to stay for the night on our travels. I would recommend and definitely use again.

The location was great.

− Shower downstairs did not work, bed sheets were still musty despite requesting a second change, no oven glove or tea towel to use the oven. Mould is present in the freezer. WiFi did not work. Downstairs bedroom had a hole in the wall. Apart from the location we were very disappointed with our stay.

Not a nice experience. Not recommended.

− The accommodation was unwelcomingly sparse, and in desperate need of refurbishment. There was no hot water available when we arrived because the owner had forgotten to order oil, so we had to rely on a small immersion tank for the first couple of days that needed to be heated up for an hour before being able to shower in the mornings (not ideal when there are three adults wanting showers). The living area had only one sofa, one chair, and a TV (not even a coffee table, no table lamps or even a rug to make it more homely). Living room laminate floors were scuffed and dirty. The dining table was right up against the bookcase, making the shelves unusable. The online information says there is a washing machine but there isn't one on the flat but is actually shared between four apartments and is found in a shed at the end of the block. We literally had to wade through rubbish and overflowing bins to access it (see pictures). Once inside the shed, the area around the washing machine was very dirty. When we complained, the owner did order the oil and repair the bedroom blind (held together with a clothes peg when we arrived). He also changed the batteries when the smoke alarms kept peeping and he provided the tea, coffee and milk that was advertised in the pack (but was absent when we arrived). He seemed surprised that it was actually mentioned in the flat's information folder. The bedrooms clearly hadn't been deep cleaned for a long time. He said the apartments were due to be refurbished but I would definitely check this has happened before anyone books as it really was not up to even a very basic standard for the price.
