8.0The hotel is a unique experience for sure to stay above a pub. If you are looking for a traditional hotel experience skip this one. However, we wanted something a bit unique and we got it. Staff is not overly friendly but I guess that is part of the local charm. Rooms are nice and clean and the pub’s live music on Monday was a special treat. Super cool vibe overall. Thank you for a lovely stay.

4.0The room was as expected and the bathroom was very clean. There was no AC and no screen in the window. No safe in the room. Bed was uncomfortable with some stains on the bedding, but livable. Unexpected bonus: Kittens in the hallway. Unexpected drawbacks: 1) Hours of loud sounds of clanging pots, pans, silverware between 11pm - 3am after the crepe place downstairs had closed (as someone cleaned up). 2) They would not let me check-out early, despite more than 24 hours notice because I booked through a third party. This leaves me with a negative impression of this business. Plans change when traveling and most accommodations allow for flexibility with 24 hours notice. Hope they rethink this policy.

10.0We've been coming back for more than a decade now, and love staying at the King Willie. Staff were great, as always. The only slight hiccup was a bit of trouble with the shower, as we lost water pressure a few times through the week, and once (briefly) alltogether. Would still thoroughly recommend though and look forward to staying on our next visit.
