Das neu gestaltete Zimmer war einfach und ok.

− Die alten nicht renorvierten Zimmer sind na ja. In diesem Zimmer roch es.

Great for a night or two midweek, if you have a car.

The lakefront chalets were very quiet and peaceful midweek with beautiful views. Big balcony/veranda to sit on. Comfortable bed. Appreciated the bathtub too. Nice walk along the lakefront to the main resort and orangutan island jetty. Great value for money by western standards, though the resort is feeling its age.

− Some lights didn't work. Everything is a little old and tired, and could do with a touch up and some care and attention. The main resort is pretty tacky and food options are very limited. Better to bring your own food or eat out in Taiping. I imagine on the weekend and in school holidays it would be super busy and the calm serenity we experienced would be a far flung dream! Must have a car, other transport options are very limited.

The shower !! Powerful. Luv so much

− Lighting very dim. Light Green and yellow wall paint make lighting worse. Aircon too noisy
