A 5-star experience at a 3-star price, simply the best!
10.0This place was absolutely beautiful! The property is right in the center of town, so easy walking access to everything. We also loved that it was on the river, and I slept with the window open to hear it which put me right to sleep. If you prefer not to hear the river, don't open the window :) Every detail was attended to, from the beautifully decorated room to the cleanliness of the windows to the very cool pine-tree overlayed bathroom door. The bed was comfortable and since we traveled as friends and not a couple, I slept on the couch, which was easily adjusted into a bed and also very comfortable. In fact, it was so comfortable that we both slept for a much-needed 10 hours after our long trip from the US. Breakfast was extensive with plenty of options including a gluten-free baked goods collection, and included our choice of eggs made in the kitchen. We opted for the superior room, which ended up being on the river side (as mentioned), and I would recommend asking for the river side when making your booking as I'm not sure that is automatic. We only stayed one night as we were on our way to a hut-to-hut via ferrata trip in the Dolomites, but we recommended this place to one of our fellow travelers who was not able to make the entire journey with us and he also had a wonderful experience. I would absolutely come back.
− It was no trouble for us, but the free parking was a bit of a walk up the hill. Parking was offered onsite for 10Eu/day, but since we were only there 1 night, we opted to walk.
