10.0I had a good stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after by the housekeeping team. A special mention goes to Sam, who was exceptional. He seemed to be doing almost everything around the hotel—managing the property, handling maintenance, housekeeping, cleaning carpets, and looking after guests. His hard work and dedication were clear throughout my stay.
− The only downside was that the reception area had an unpleasant smell, which gave a poor first impression. The hotel itself also feels quite old and would benefit from renovation and modernization. The staff are doing a great job, but the property needs investment to match their efforts. Overall, thanks to Sam’s outstanding service, my stay was a positive one.
Comfortable and pleasant stay
9.0Lovely clean well designed room. Bed comfortable. Fan provided as a was iron and small ironing board. Cutlery/ crockery little kitchenette more than adequate for my needs. Slower room and toilet clean with good water pressure. Check out nice and easy. Fob key for front door easy to use. Nice that washing machine /dryer was available. Corridor and stairs area clean and clear of clutter. Neighbours in other rooms were respectful of noise. Good value for money and would strongly recommend.
− Room key a little fiddly to use. TV worked ok but very small. No towels- i could have asked for them but brought my own so did not bother to ask. Water in the fridge would have been a nice touch. Basic toiletries in the bathroom would have been nice.. Not ideal fir people with mobility issues or wheelchair user as no lift.
