Gemütlicher Pub, gutes Essen im Restaurant am abend der Ankunft, Personal gab sich Mühe

− War das erste& letzte Mal das ich dort gebucht habe ( Buchung Sa-So). Sich im Zimmer ( EG neben der Küche) aufzuhalten / zu schlafen war sehr mühsam wg dauerhaftem Benzingeruch der überall im Zimmer war. Bad bestand aus gestrichenem Betonboden mit Ablauf / Duschvorhang& WC. Geruch dito. Buchung war incl Frühstück, somit war Frühstücksbestellung ab Karte ( mit sehr ansprechender Auswahl) nicht möglich, Auswahl extrem reduziert mit "entweder- oder". Hatte mich dann für Fruit&Cheese- Selection & Kaffee entschieden - hätte ich mir sparen können. 5 Erdbeeren, 6 Heidelbeeren, 2Löffel Frischkäse & 1 Scheibe Camembert. Ahja, noch 6-7 kl Cracker, die hab ich dann liegen lassen. Never ever in my life...

The staff were fantastic they were very helpful and the renovation in the bar was spot on. I will be back can't wait to see the new bedrooms. The breakfast was marvellous,there was only 2 choices on the menu but they cooked anything we asked for .

− To be honest the only thing we missed was a bedside cabinet.

breakfast was nice, bar staff were friendly

− the place was run down and like somehting out of the 1970s. There was no WIFI !, this was blamed on renovations. The bathroom floor was akin to a wet room, with plaster coming off the walls and windows that didn't close proper;ly. It would have been nice to have been informed the hotel area was being done up prior to booking. It was very disappointing.

Wait until work has been completed to visit

Location quite rural area not too far from airport and Belfast

− Not finished still building work ongoing. No WiFi in rooms and tv not working properly. Workmen outside using power tools at 06:50

Decent place and excellent staff, just needs the hotel renovating

Location was excellent, the refurbished bar and restaurant were very good. Bed linen and towels spotless and beds comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful with everything and resolved an issue we had in a very generous manner, which was much appreciated. I appreciate that the hotel side of the business is in the planning stages of updating however somethings do need attention until this project is completed. This said the restaurant and bar and the food served was first class and we would return again once the bedrooms have been sorted. Hurry up and sort please.

− Bedroom and bathroom was dated and bath edges were mouldy, loose tap on washbasin., fixtures and lights in bedroom very dated. No bottles of water in bedroom. Resident breakfast menu disappointing especially as other people coming in for breakfast had a large choice of items, ( a surcharge could be applied to more items ) Which we wouldn’t have had an issue pay for.

− Hot water was erratic but there was lots of renovations taking place
