− Disappointed on the last night arriving back after the day out to find the beds had not been made . This was the first time this has happened.

A fabulous stay in a wonderful Bed and Breakfast.
10.0The breakfast was delicious, and served in the beautiful conservatory. We enjoyed a full English and Omelette. Plenty of continental breakfast to select. The staff were amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. Location wise, Holly Lodge is set in the middle of rural Norfolk. Thursford is a small village close by, but does not offer any amentities. The nearest eatery is a drive away, so nothing actually on the door step. There are however, plenty of restaurants/pubs etc within a 15/20 minute drive away, whether it be coastal or inland. We enjoyed meals in the evening in Wells next the Sea. A quaint fishing town on the estuary. Approximately 20 mins from Holly Lodge. We stayed in Juniper cottage. A lovely room, with shower ensuite. The room was spacious and had arm chairs and TV if required. In the main house itself, there is a lounge with TV, and an honesty bar. There are 3 cottages, Flint/Juniper and a slightly larger Mulberry cottage in addition to a fabulous large shepherds hut in a very private location. There are also rooms in Holly Lodge too.
