6.0This is the 4th year we have stayed here as it is ideal for Goodwood. The pub is comfortable and pleasant with a good range of drinks. Everyone staying there was going to the Festival of Speed.
− 4th year in a row and the last. Since the new owners have taken over the service is no longer customer focused. Menu Limited breakfast no longer early to cater for everyone who was going to the festival. Previously the old owners appreciated the custom the festival brought in now focus appears to be on cost and not customer.

Quite adequate for our purposes - to attend a wedding at the Barnes some 15 minutes drive away
6.0− We stayed in the middle of the late June heat wave 37 C and the menu was restricted to allow kitchen staff some necessary relief, so evening menus were limited. Breakfast was limited to a number of set combinations, not self selection at a breakfast bar. No aircon but good fans were provided.
