10.0Perfect location , clean, quiet rooms despite being so close to the Trevi fountain, restaurants and shops. Great bathrooms and comfortable beds, AC, Staff were awesome and accommodating for our large family in 4 rooms. Loved the hot tub and shaded balcony for the 40C temperature.
− To close to the gelato shops, the 8 grandkids loved it!
Disappointing Hotel
4.0Hotel is old and dated. Needs a major renovation. Washroom had mold on baseboards and tile. Location is super busy right on the path to Trevi fountain.
Dirty,shabby with dangerous stairs in places. Convenient position.
4.0Two rooms were booked for us as a family by Cruise 118. This hotel is very central and has very helpful staff. The breakfast is adequate. The rooms were not 3* unfortunately. One was a bedroom up a lane at the side of the hotel. The other was within the hotel but dirty with footmarks going up one bedroom wall. There was a stained toilet and black mold in the bathroom. Unfortunately all rooms had a few steps to reach them because it is a historic building. There were no handrails for the steps. There is no lounge should you wish to escape the heat for a few hours during the day. All air conditioning is governed by the front desk - my room did not fall beneath 24C. I shall not be recommending this hotel.
Excellent location
10.0An excellent base for exploring the historic heart of Rome, as most of the tourist sites are within easy walking distance. The wait staff within the hotel deserve a special mention for marking my wife’s birthday, a very simple gesture which meant so much to her. The reception staff were helpful and provided advice on how to get about Rome using public transport, which is both cheap and convenient. Driving through the smaller streets in one of the smaller bus’s is an expensive not to be missed.
