Bad experience
1.0The room was as it was show in the photos and it’s what dusty and no AC in the room
− The room was very dusty
Guest review
2.0− It has the rundown feel of a hotel where everything is done in the cheapest way possible to maintain bare minimum standard. It is also next to a main road.
expected better more
4.0overall ok to a bear min
− no table or chair in room no lamp lighting no larger bin was 2 very small bins taking up space in bedroom when 1 bigger bin would be enough no shelve above sink for toothpaste brush etc as sink was to big for the shower room and sloppedd so item fell in to sink also no shelving for spare towels or hook on back of door for clothing towel etc after shower so having to put clean items on floor when picked this place said wanted parking once booked said minimal spaces available and its a free for all so no guaranteed spaced when return from day out and picked ground floor accomadation this was down several steps to get to hall space then walk to room which was quite a bit below ground so low window so not usable for wheelchairs or elderly and beside wardrobe there had been a leak from shower which had been sorted but you could still see the blown plaster in room and shower and screen not cleaned hair down shoower plug and painted black furinture so dark and gloomy when half below ground so already dark so found it to be depressing and the reception when open not staffed and finaally the door entering the building came to a fire door to pass even though signage said close quitly never was by other so this was heard evertme some enterd or left so should have a slow close mecanism on door as somenight wasnt even closed had door stoopper keeping it open when maybe was a fire door???? or if closed was heavy to open hence slammeed all the time so they must address issue and not put on guest that didnt care or bother to close quitly

4.0Tv and shower.
− Was really too hot to be sleeping comfortably. No shower gel and shampoo as we were used to in others lodges B&Bs. The fridge in the room was a plus, but not cold really. The bed was too small really for 2 adults(it was a small double bed)
A good value, well located basic guest house.
7.0Location is excellent- just a 10 min walk from high street. Bed was super comfy and bathroom small but acceptable.
− The rooms were up three narrow flights of stairs so a bit tricky with a heavy case and tiresome after a long day. A bottle of water and a few more coffee sachets would also have been nice.
Very poor accommodation with very rude and intimidating manager/owner
3.0No breakfast offered
− 1 hour before check out time of 10 am (ie. 9 am), the owner sent a very rude message saying that the bins need emptying and towels, etc left in the bathroom. I had left at 7 am as I had an early ferry to catch. He then threatened a cleaning charge if this didn't happen and that cleaning staff take photos to send to him. There was no daily service (we were there for 3 days over the festival period) or towel change or any other service you might reasonably expect from a hotel. I informed him that I had never stayed in a hotel where you had to empty your own bin and that I would not be paying any additional cleaning bill. This was met with 'read terms and conditions'. I will not be paying any add bill and will go to court if required!!!!! Overall, the room was very sparse with soured milk left for making tea/coffee and the claim of secure parking is dubious as its literally in a yard big enough for 2 or 3 cars!! The only good thing about the place was its location for getting into town easily. I will not be staying again!!
