Over priced basic accommdation in a great location.

− We paid almost $Nz700 for 2 nights for a pokey room at the back facing part of the hotel (no view). It felt more like a backpackers hostel than a quality lodge. Basic facilities. Shared kitchen. The heater in our room was broken (but a staff member did replace it), the TV didnt work and the internet/wifi was poor (but that’s probably expected in a remote national park). only one staff member sighted at the lodge the entire time. Adequate but not worth the money.
Amazingly beautiful scenery and a lovely code place to stay with friendly helpful staff!

10.0So sunny and warm, this was for our parents to stay while we got married at thar lodge! Was so very lucky to be allowed to get ready there also.
