A once in a lifetime experience
7.0The staff at Gaia are what truly make this place so special. Every single person we met was genuinely dedicated to making our stay the best experience possible. From thoughtful recommendations for activities to the little personal touches throughout our stay, their hospitality was exceptional. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and blend perfectly with the natural surroundings. But the real highlight is the river and waterfalls right on the property. Having such a stunning natural setting just steps away made our stay unforgettable. Gaia is one of those places where both the location and the people come together to create a truly memorable experience.
− Keep in mind that while there are fans, there are no air conditioning units inside the rooms. Which can be a turn off. Also no fridge in the rooms, which is not very practical when you have medicines you need to keep cool, and nearby.

Teleurstellend met veel gedoe
4.0Lokatie was erg prachtig als ook materiaal gebruik en architectuur van het hotel. Mevrouw die de kamer schoonmaakte, maakte er een wedstrijdje van wie het mooiste handdoekbeeldjes kon maken - ernstig grappig
− De prijzen van het eten en de variatie in het eten - zeer beperkte wijnkaart en kostbaar terwijl Coppola een resort met restaurants ernaast heeft - daar gegeten en echt heerlijk en betaalbare wijnen - maar vooral met deze prijzen niet eens een kleine ijskast op je kamer, muskieten net voor de ramen kapot, enorme bedragen voor excursies en ik heb 3x de afrekening moeten laten wijzigen omdat er dingen opstonden die niet van ons waren of tip die niet gegeven was. Ook was breakfast included maar ons de kaart overhandigen en niet zeggen wat wel en niet included is en daarmee de idee geven dat je mag kiezen wat je wilt en als wat je gekozen hebt dat zelfs goedkoper is dan de gerechten die included zijn proberen er een 35% op te gooien - is allemaal goedgekomen maar gezeur en gedoe en daar betaal ik dat geld niet voor. Jammer het was ons aangeraden en t is een mooie lokatie maar maak niet zo´n gebruik van de zgn isolatie - Coppola is next door en de wegen zijn gemaakt dus alles veel eenvoudiger te bereiken.

Fabulous Lodge in Amazing Setting
10.0Fantastic decor throughout the hotel, well laid out with great grounds. The food is excellent and the bar makes great cocktails. The room is very comfortable. The 'beach' area.by the river is extrememly well done, the staff are all very friendly and efficient.
− Be careful booking the river view rooms if you are a light sleeper - the waterfall is noisy!
