Comfortable Family Stay with Easy Access from MXP and to Lake Como
10.0Stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Milan Malpensa Solbiate for 2 nights with Family 2 Adults and 3 kids in July 2026. Staff here is very friendly, welcoming and greeted us with DT cookies. This hotel is very close to MXP airport, they offer shuttle to and from MXP, we did not use but had a rental and they featured gated parking lot with no charge. Breakfast was nice and has good choice being above basic, we slept through 1st day from being out in Centrale Milan (check out Crazy Pizza) and tired from our flight but used it 2nd day. Gym was small but it gets it done. Housekeeping was very attentive when requesting extra towels. Our rooms were not big as other DT I stayed before but had enough shoulder room for us in Italy. There is a supermarket/mall nearby for quick bites and supplies. We drove to Lake Como, 1 hour drive, visiting Villa Carlotta, parked our rental there (there are plenty of public paid spots, use parking app to manage paying and extending) while taking ferries to Bellagio, Varenna, etc. I highly recommend this hotel for their great service and location. Especially for families, travelers with a rental car, or anyone looking for a comfortable stay close to MXP.

− Cleaning staff were extremely noisy - on phones and talking loudly in passage. Not observant to do not disturb on adjoining rooms they were cleaning. I had to come out to advise.
