Not bad but could do a whole lot better! Too expensive for the experience.

− Breakfast is good, but not great. I know the current owner is looking to sell but staff turnover seems to be high and there aren't enough of them. I attend musical weekends in Ettrickbridge several times a year so stay frequently (no other options!) and it could be a wonderful place. However, they are charging Edinburgh prices for an experience that is not commensurate. Plumbing dodgy in several rooms. Maintenance like dud bulbs and cobwebs on windows suggest a general lack of care.
