Disappointing.
6.0I liked that it was close to the boardwalk and where we normally visit when in Santa cruz
− The room wasn’t very clean. The coffee machine water container was filthy. We arrived and ask for an early check in saw that the room was done but never got a call to check in early. I was informed that there was a charge per car. I asked for the charge to be waived as we brought 1 car for each room we reserved and that request was declined because we went through a booking site. I have had many hotels waive this charge but not this one. The bedding was damp so all night it felt like we were laying on a wet towel. The facility had zero amenities.
Perfect large room for our family group!
7.0I was traveling with another adult and 4 grandchildren. Room #403 was spacious and comfy. The smaller kids LOVED the window seat pullout beds. The kitchen and table were handy and the ice and vending machines were right downstairs. There is also a patio to enjoy. And SO CLOSE to the beach/boardwalk!
− It is just a tad rustic, not a fancy 5-star, but great for our purposes.

10.0Proximity to the beach, staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the facilities were great. Especially grateful for extra utensils and an outdoor washing station
− Lack of furniture to put clothes, wish we would have known about the outdoor shower sooner.

− Our room was way too small #203 Wanted an ocean view and upon arriving realized there were view rooms much larger. The king bed in the room was way too big for that size room
