− Abbiamo soggiornato in questo resort per cinque notti e purtroppo non ha soddisfatto al meglio le nostre aspettative. A differenza di altre strutture/lodge nei bellissimi parchi per i safari, al Jacaranda si percepisce - secondo il nostro punta di vista - ben poco lo spirito autentico del Kenya. Un resort popolato da italiani. - Pur essendo spaziosa, la camera aveva vari problemi di manutenzione e scarsa pulizia (nel bagno). Sicuramente non ci aspettavamo attenzione al dettaglio, ma almeno del sapone/shampoo come amenity nel bagno. Le tende non sono minimamente oscuranti. Nella nostra camera non prendeva la rete WiFi, la scusante del Guest Relations è stata che era troppo vicina ad un altro hotel. - Se desiderate un soggiorno di puro relax, non è il posto migliore. La nostra camera dava direttamente su una piscina ad uso comune, gli schiamazzi dei bambini all’ordine del giorno. Per non parlare della musica ad alto volume in tarda serata/notte che proviene dai resort vicini. Purtroppo non avevamo capito il target e la tipologia di animazione degli hotel di questa zona. - Il servizio ai ristoranti è buono e attento. Non si può dire la stessa cosa del ricevimento, l’accoglienza del tutto fredda e disinteressata. Abbiamo fatto richiesta di un taxi ma poi si sono evidentemente dimenticati. Il “”Guest Relations”” è del tutto inefficace, se non per un’introduzione generale sui servizi del resort; abbiamo dovuto sollecitare varie volte per una semplice richiesta di assistenza per un transfer di rientro, per poi non farne di niente. La posizione è perfetta a Watamu, ottima inoltre per raggiungere Sardegna 2 (escursione che consigliamo vivamente assieme all’Isola dell’Amore - noi abbiamo scelto il tour operator di Zucchero). **da aspettarsi, una volta sulla spiaggia pubblica, di essere braccati dai beach boys!
