8.0Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, and delicious. Everything we needed was near to hand. The room was comfortable, and appeared clean, although I found several cobwebs, and reminded myself that this was an old building. Nevertheless a quick sweep with the vacuum nozzle would sort this out.

10.0Fantastic stay. I received a warm welcome and was informed of the history of the main house and given informationabout breakfast and the relaxing bar area. Breakfast orders are taken the evening before, and my order was delivered to the dining room at exactly the time ordered (it was hot, fresh and delicious). There are cereals etc already in the room. The choice is excellent and includes veggie/vegan options. Great coffee. The room was lovely and had everything needed for my stay - hairdryer, kettle and tea/coffee/milk. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice and quiet. The WiFi was good. There was a TV but i didnt use it. This felt like staying with friends, and is one of my all time favourite guest experiences.
