Spa break
9.0The room was lovely, and the staff were very welcoming and polite. Nothing was too much trouble if you requested assistance. The gardens, woodland & ponds were beautiful, it was so relaxing walking around the area. Dinner & afternoon tea immaculate. Good choice of drinks from the bar and nice snacks available. Spa treatment was a dream, and using the pool, sauna, and salt inhalation steam room was great, we relaxed on loungers afterwards in complete calm.
− The dining room floor was a joke, it was very worn and almost everyone's shoes stuck to it, making it aggravating to listen to. Breakfast could have been better organised, many items had finished and not topped up. You can't help yourself with hot food causing a queue.
Poor hydrotherapy and pool
6.0I visited the spa recently and wanted to share some feedback. While the staff were extremely pleasant and the service was great, the room was clean, the food was tasty, I was disappointed with the condition of the pool and hydrotherapy area. Several hydrotherapy jets appeared damaged or were not working properly, the pool looked worn, tired and a number of the tiles appeared to need replacing, these issues meant the facilities didn’t meet the standard I expected for the price paid. I thought it was important to let you know, and I’d appreciate your comments on whether any refurbishment is planned?
