Amazing location, sunset views and staff
9.0So many good things to list - the location is amazing, the staff in all areas of the hotel are SO friendly and helpful, while the pool was under renovation while we where there, you can see how amazing it must be once it is open, fab being able to go in the water bottom boat and the canoes as part of the hotel offering, and the breakfast buffet was great! You can wander down to the beach during the day, both Mont Choisy and Trou de Biches within walking distance, and sitting on the sun loungers watching the sunset each night was amazing! There are a couple of nice restaurants in walking distance, but we also caught a cab into Grand Baie for lunch / dinner if we wanted a change of scenary. We also had a medical emergency with our young son and the hotel was phenomenal - Vincent at reception organised a taxi in seconds and phoned the hospital ahead of us getting there. Jennifer and Francesco (GM) both came to visit us in hospital to bring us food from the buffet and check up on us. We could not have felt more supported despite the stress and being away from home.
− Not a complaint, more a nice to know for those reading the reviews - if you are a light sleeper, bring the support you need. All the hotels / apartments along this strip of the beach are close to the road and you do hear cars in the early hours of the morning if you are a light sleeper. This did not disturb my husband, young son or mum at all so not an issue for the majority of people
