Nasty experience; really upsetting - AVOID
2.0We booked this Hotel through Hotels.com as part of a multi trip from Spain to England. We specifically selected it as it was advertised as “Pet Friendly” and we have a 6 month cocker puppy. When we arrived there was a no dogs sign on the front door; I went inside and was told that our Dog (and therefore us) could only enter the Hotel via the underground car park and the Dog had to be taken straight to the room, the dog was not allowed out of the room, in any of the common areas and not even on the outside terraces. After 10 hours driving we were devastated, my wife in tears and we had no alternative but to NOT check in. We then had to drive another 2 hours to Foix where we found a Hotel which was so welcoming at short notice and they really were pet friendly. I don’t often write a negative review but this experience, in front of other guests was disgusting and really really upset us. With hindsight I expect that the whole atmosphere there would have been toxic and I’d urge travellers to give this one a miss.

Peaceful hotel
8.0The hotel is quiet and clean. Breakfast is plentiful. WIFI did not work in the room. I had to work in the hotel lobby.
