10.0One of the best holidays we have had. The castle is amazing and very comfortable with fantastic views.. We shall certainly be back. A great base to explore the lovely towns nearby.

8.0This is a rare find; a 13th century castello, lovingly restored and converted into comfortable and atmospheric apartments. There are magnificent views across Umbria. You are within reach of Spoleto and Foligno. Only problem; finding it. I strongly suggest that anyone booking it should make sure they get a precise map, because it is in the middle of nowhere. Worse, the map given on the hotels.com page puts it in the wrong place, (there's a cemetery there instead) which cost me 45 minutes of looking for something that wasn't there, but 5 miles up the road. I'd have been furious, but when I got there it was so lovely, (the people, too), I forgot everything.
