The perfect stay! Stunning location, relaxing facilities, great staff, beautiful rooms and delicious food.
10.0Absolutely immaculate and beautifully maintained tea estate villa. Our room was gorgeous with a view to die for over the tea plantations. We loved the circular walk through the tea trees, enjoyed the pool and had fun playing the putting. Food was just fab! The evening meals were excellent quality and the breakfasts plentiful and delicious, including curd and honey which we love. Taking afternoon tea on the lawn on my husband’s birthday felt like a step back in time and was just idyllic. The staff can’t do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay - always smiling and helpful, they are a delight.

3.0The staff and location
− The Langdale feels tired and old fashioned. That is especially true of the bedrooms and bathrooms. When I mentioned this to a member of the staff I was told that the hotel was under going a significant refurb later on the year. The staff are wonderful and deserve better.
