owner and family were very kind, friendly and very nice people! House surrounded by greens n flowers
4.0I m totally happy with their hospitality by the owner and her family. They prepared us breakfast to our request. We are very much appreciated. Enjoyed the local brekkie. The cottage is surround with greens and flowers. Thank you for the water lily plant too. Totally we are so happy with them.
− However, our room had very little water. When asked they said, they just turned on the water tank and it will take time. the next morning when i turned on the shower and tape it was only droplets of water for washing face, brushing teeth and shower. Unbelievable! The rain shower looks impressive but no water. Knowing that we are coming and staying for the night we wish the owner should not have prepared the room and make sure all toilet tap is working. Why wasn't the water tank opened and filled - at least to a half tank before our arrival! My husband and I were so frustrated that we couldn't have proper shower. The bed and pillow were not comfortable. Only one pillow for each of us plus no blanket. The side table should be placed for each side instead it was used for making coffee. The room was big enough sure the owner can find place to put another small table for coffee making. Also, should have clean the room thoroughly especially behind the curtain. Lizard poops were not found and saw lizards too. TV was not working and they did not show us how to operate and no WIFI password given. Anyway, we were too tired as we arrived very late that night and I decided not to make fuss about it. The other cottage my nephew stayed for one person had no ceiling fan. It was very stuffy, he too didn't sleep well.
Friendly Host & Dinner With Cashew Nut Curry
10.0The air conditioning was excellent, the location was quiet, and it was incredibly convenient being so close to Udawalawa National Park. They even served a delicious dinner featuring the best cashew nut curry, and arranged for electric car charging facilities.

10.0This place is unbelievably tranquil and serene. In addition, the place itself is hygienic and it offers great customer service. Also it is very close to elephant transits home in Udavalawe park. Complementary fresh fruits were given to us during the stay and don't forget to enjoy the sweet and refreshing king coconut growing in the hotel's land. I highly recommend the Grand Leisure Villa if you are visiting Sri Lanka!
