− There were bugs in my room and roaches I had to be switched to another room and when I got there they didn’t clean up after the people before me. On top of that it looks nothing like the pictures

The owners are really sweet and friendly!!! Definitely stay again

We got in late. There was an amazing older gentleman that came out to help us. Our original room had a few issue and he didn’t stop helping us until another room and the issues were solved. It’s unfortunate I didn’t get his name. The room, property and surrounding area are what you would expect for the price and the location/city. It does the job. Room was clean. No complaints.

Location wise was super close for what we needed due to a softball tornament. Other than that it looked nothing like the pictures at all

− It looked abandoned, the pool was not working, no laundry area or ice machine… the aircondition was minimum which being at the fields all day the whole weekend was not conviniente. Room size was good, beds confortable enough… room has roaches coming up and down the walls

Worse experience ever, would NEVER go back for a stay at OYO Superior Budget Inn Bartow!! TERRIBLE!!

I DID NOT LIKE ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT THIS SO CALLED HOTEL, THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT & AUTHORITIES NEED TO SHUT IT DOWN AND THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU NEEDS TO BE CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY!!

− My husband (who has Cancer) & I traveled from Fort Lauderdale to Bartow for a family funeral. When he initially booked the room it was supposed to be for a king size bed but when we arrived we were told by the husband/owner that the room had plumbing issues & unknowingly moved us into a room with two double beds. We went inside the room only to find a couple of lizards on the ceiling, hair on & around the toilet (DISGUSTING), the door was very hard to close & wouldn't close properly, when we pulled the sheets back the pillowcases and sheets were very dirty, had hair on them & had what looked like make-up stains on them so, we slept on top of the comforter and covered up with the throw that we brought from home. In the middle of the night we felt something crawling on us, maybe the lizards in the room. They have people living there walking by the rooms that appear to be on drugs that were talking loud & playing music all night. Didn't get much sleep because of the noise & bugs. They have a pool that had no water in it & it was mildew and unknown objects thrown in it. The next morning we went to the office area (no lobby like most hotels) & reported what we had experienced to the wife of the owner, she got really mad and told us that we needed to leave IMMEDIATELY after telling us that we can have a late check out at 12:00 pm & without offering any type of compensation or apology. She was VERY VERY RUDE & did not care. They need to go out of business, this place is not a real hotel & rooms should NEVER be rented out to anyone. There's NOTHING Superior about this place & we will DEFINITELY choose wisely next time. Booking.com really needs to evaluate the hotels that are listed through them & thoroughly read and evaluate customer reviews because it could really have a strong negative affect on their business. Also, Booking.com needs to consider parting ways with this hotel.
